So here we are in the Fall season, creeping into winter, you know, the common cold season. Welcoming all the viruses into your home from your children’s school, and also your spouse’s workplace. Prevent the common cold with essential oils
Essential oils can aide in the prevention of those nasty viruses that can lead to the common cold. Here’s a blend to prevent the common cold
- Cinnamon Bark oil
- Clove Oil
- and Orange oil
Put these oils in equal parts into an amber bottle. Then add 10 drops or so into your diffuser, let her rip and you now have a virus hating vapor to assist in fighting off the common cold. As a result you have just created the perfect autumn blend.
Help with the symptoms of the common cold
Seems like maybe you are reading this after you got your cold, this is no fun. So now your chest is heavy your nose is congested, and maybe you have a headache and you feel like you’re coughing up your lungs. Let me assist you with your ailments.
Can’t breathe? You know those little packs of tissues? Bust one package out, place 6 or 7 drops of Eucalyptus oil, and 4 or 5 drops of Lavender all around the tissues. Grab yourself a zip-lock bag and place the oil infused tissues into it. When you’re feeling all stuffed up, grab a tissue, place it under your nose and breathe deep. As a result this will help loosen up all that congestion.
Because it’s nighttime, and you’re getting ready to jump in bed, you start coughing and feeling congested. Here is a little something to help get you through it.
- First of all, get yourself a tablespoon of fractionated coconut oil.
- add 8 drops of eucalyptus oil.
- 5 drop of some lavender.
- and 2 drops of thyme.
Now mix the ingredients in an amber jar. Finally rub about a teaspoons worth of the rub onto your chest area and jump in bed. This should cause easier berating and some good sleep. Eucalyptus helps with the cough and congestion, while the thyme is a kick butt antiviral. Also lavender is pretty awesome at battling viruses, and promotes relaxation.
